We love photoshoots as they provide the chance to collaborate with other local businesses and creatives...

…plus we get to build relationships in a fun creative environment. When the opportunity came along to shoot in the incredible Eichardt’s Private Hotel we were so inspired. This exclusive and classy hotel, smack bang in Queenstown’s CBD, enabled a top notch collaboration with 9 other businesses. From there came the concept of modern, edgy, androgynous glam.

Eichardts’ modern & historic interiors provided us with so many amazing locations for our shoot. From scenic rooftops to whisky parlour sass, Eichardt’s really does have it all. And let’s not forget the food – so delicious. It would be the perfect place for a wedding, or to spoil you and your loved one for an elopement.

A stand out piece that was created especially for this shoot is the Violett Dress. Sleek yet edgy with its geometric lines, this gown was perfect for our modern shoot. Made of 100% silk satin with a luscious sheen & exquisite drape, this understated dress was all about the cut and a beautiful back view – an aspect of gowns we encourage our brides to prioritise.

Kate Roberge’s fun personality brought such a happy & relaxed vibe to the shoot. She’s full of ideas for getting natural looking shots & immediately puts everyone at ease.

It was our first time working with Georgie from Georgie Henderson Hair & Makeup. She fully nailed the hair and makeup, that low bun was perfection! She even gave Caio a fresh new hair cut.

Tracey from Crimson Wedding Flowers delivered the beautiful blooms in the morning of the shoot. A particular fav was the dried sunflower bunch.

Having Vu Jewellers there covering the models in gorgeous jewels was such a highlight, we all had jewel envy and it added that extra layer of lux we were after.
